This Life

June 11, 2011 Uncategorized 13 Comments

This life I live never ceases to give me the giggles. It is a great life but one that is so unpredictable. Most certainly unplanned. I spent this past week doing photo shoots and interviews. At home I am hard pressed to put on shoes and comb my hair.

Sometimes I stop, look around and think “what the heck happened here?”

No complaints, mind you, just astonishment.

Back home from taping, my men are all here and I am so very content. Sleepy but content. Just thought I would stop through. Didn’t want to give the impression that I had only resurfaced for two blogs and fallen back into my blog coma (I don’t remember who used that but it is an accurate description.)

Anyway, I have yet to recover fully from my trip. But I wanted to drop by. Here’s a behind the scenes pictures of my adventures during the week.

  4. Lt. Leigh Bowman-(Ret.) says:

Brand- Spanking new fan. Hi, I recently retired from the Navy. Not a people-person but enlisted anyway.Paid to learn a career. Single and a loner. 38 years old. A little bored and not used to having time on my hands.Going to find something to do because I really don’t sleep. Ripping and running around trying to learn this new city I chosed to live in. Decide to stay home one day. Divorce Court came on. Thought it was just going to be another whacky court show, but Judge Lynn proved me wrong. At times it was quite hilarious. Especially on Friday’s show when old dude was talking when you were speaking! Googled Judge Lynn T. Click on a picture because I thought it was pretty. Read the blog, another laugh. You can stand on your head a long time. A contest I used to challenge the seamen(and women) to do. 50 bucks if you can outlast me. Never happened. I remain undefeated! Some viewed me as strange, weird and odd. Some ask me why am I so cool? Even close family members. Who me? Not really strange, odd or weird, just different. Some go with the flow. Some follow the crowd. Me? I don’t know what in the hell I do because I really haven’t found a word, syndrome or vibe to describe me. Free-spirit maybe but I’m well beyond that.Socially impaired,GOOD ONE! I think you are a cool person just from reading parts of your bio. Stay that way. Dont change for anyone . And if I decide to stay ay home this week, I will tune in again!

  5. Judge Lynn says:

Lt. Bowman, you have entertained me!!!! Thanks for stopping through!

  6. Chris Hames-Fla. says:

Your blog was “cool” Lieutenant!! A different style.

Judge have there ever been a time where you go back and read a particular blog over. Maybe it touched you or maybe you just liked it. I’m asking because I just read Lt. Bowman’s twice because of the peculiar style.”Peculiar does that fit your motif Lt.?

  7. Y Gore says:

Waving to Judge Lynn, the OCMs and all the newbies we have!! Glad to have you back Judge. Even if it is intermittent.

  8. OhioRuthie says:

So glad to see you blogging. I missed everyone!

Still working with the animals…two new ones. The puppy (7 months) was almost adopted until she tried to bite the husband. They drove over an hour to meet her. They still considered adopting her but after much thought said no. They said she is really bonded to me and really trusts me. She hid her face in my arms. I think she just doesn’t want to leave..she’s never bitten anyone before! The 9yr old border collie loves me but hates the world. Looks like its going to be awhile before I have room for more.

OCM Denise came to the rescue of my rescue for the zillionth time..so they are physically ready to go..just not emotionally.

So nice to see the blog again :)
    Happy Sunday all!

  9. Council Kathy Tensley says:

Judge Lynn, would you ever consider a Reality Show? I wouldn’t. I’m a mother of 3. 18 year old son and twins, 15 year old boy and girl.Cameras around 24/7 is out. It would be an invasion of privacy to my family. Also one thing I wouldn’t do is over expose my kids to the media. Even if I wasn’t in office the answer would still be no!!

P.S. I won this seat because it was unopposed No one in the district was running for it and so I was like “What the hell.” “I’ll do it” Small town Girl with a big town education.

  10. Judge Lynn says:

Hello to all my OCMs. Your girl is trying to get back in the swing. Thanks for hanging in.

Kathy, even if I were to consider a reality show (which I wouldn’t for the reasons you stated – especially the kid part) I would have to find a new husband to do it with. Big E simply would not have it.

  11. Mini says:

Hello there Your honor, glad you are still in touch. I went to see Win Win today just to see your cameo. You definately keep busy. BTW I love that picture of you in the red dress on FB. Your work-outs are paying off.

    peace.

  12. Michael Jones says:

    Judge you have beautiful legs!!!

  13. Charles Washington says:

What’s up Judge Lynn? How was you Sunday? Do anything buzz worthy or did you just chill today? What ever you conquered today I hope that you were in the best of health and spirits!! ;)
