Well, I got it together.
Had a fabulous tennis lesson. I've "got my mind right"
I just tried to call Duchess but apparently she is out and about, That is always good. She is feeling well these days and I am grateful for that. It is not always a given anymore.
So we are considering – just considering – doing another Evening with Judge Lynn. It was fun in Birmingham but we didn't have as good of a turn out as we would have liked. Maybe a bigger city? We're thinking about it.
I am still working on updating my ipod. I asked folks on Facebook for suggestions. I have never heard of many of them (man, talk about feeling out of touch). Anyway, so far I've bought one Jennifer Hudson song. What are ya' gonna do? Can't seem to get with it.
Well, once I finish icing my knees I am of to. . . (yes, you guessed it) the grocery store. I have gone everyday this week. I would have failed Home Economics if they still taught it.
I also have to get new tennis shoes. Played right through these today.

Peace.
Sounds like you are having a great day…funny about the shoe! You are a serious tennis player!
Adopted out a parrot last week and today one of the dogs died..Brittany a maltese was from one of the worst puppy mills in the midwest but was one of the most loving dogs. She was 12.
I hope my other 12 year old hangs in there awhile…she's 93lbs..a german shepherd…a few cats went around the same time..so I hope this is it for awhile.
On a funny note..my african grey Joey and my 7mth old kitten Hazel have a one sided conversation every morning (the past few mornings) Joey will look down at Hazel and say, "You wanna go bye bye?" The tone of voice he uses I half expect him to give a evil laugh after saying it! I can't help but think he wouldn't bring her back!!! Don't know what's going on with those two..he usually loves cats.
Working rule 41…putting the passion in cleaning still..working on the basement now.
Hope all are having a good day..Judge Lynn looks like you will have to go to the store and get shoes!
COME TO NYC!! (TRIBECA) MANY PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE COME FROM MILES AND OCEANS AWAY TO SEE THE GREAT CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS!! SOMEWHERE IN THE CHAOS OF ALL THE TRAFFIC AND CROWDED STREETS AND SUBWAY, THERE'S A JUDGE LYNN FAN LURKING IN THE MIDST. FROM THE LOOKS OF YOUR SHOES, YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN ICING YOUR TOES!! (lol). HOPE YOU FIND THE SOOTHING RELAXING MUSIC THAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. ME. I'LL LISTEN TO MUSIC THAT'S NOT OFFENSIVE. WHAT MUSIC CATEGORY IS THE JUDGE INTERESTED IN? ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY!!
Ruthie, so sorry about Brittany . . . loved he bird and kitty story. . . clean on! . . .
Hi Judge Lynn,
Glad you're feeling better. I think I've traded places with how you were feeling earlier. I'm trying to maintain though.
I just don't know, maybe I'll HAVE A NICE COOL DRINK.. maybe I'll listen to some SADE..by the way, you might like her.
Hope everyone is well today.
Your shoe thing made me smile though.
Sorry about your pets Ruthie, I can tell you care a lot about them.
I love all the music folks suggested to you on Facebook … but I have to say, as far as listening music, SADE is probably a good choice for someone like yourself. Not her latest album, the one before that. Also, lets not forget JILL SCOTT!! My fav — who I am going to see in June in CT!!!! You should DEFINITELY keep the "ole skool jams" for boogeying purposes — there's nothing like them!!
Ruthie — I just love you for the work that you do!! mmmmwa!!
Ok, so, the EVENING WITH JUDGE LYNN … I'm not sure about the format of the Birmingham event, but I think a nice HOTEL venue (conference/meeting room) in a bigger city that is closer to ME!! would be perfect. A short 2-hour flight to New York to see the great JLT would def work for me! Throw in dinner and old school dancing at the venue and it'll be spectacular!!
Today whilst walking my dogs I found a raspberry tree!!!!!! Sat underneath that sucker and literally sucked the life out of that darn tree!! The pain in my belly is unbearable … why don't I ever learn!?
mmmmuurgh
Beyonce
Cece Winans…btw she reminds me of you.
Janet Jackson
Taylor Swift
Yolanda Adams
Leona Lewis
Carrie Underwood
Those are a few must haves.
Judge what did you do to your shoes? I guess someone's gonna have do do some shoe shopping. LOL
From the shoes I can only think two things: You injured yourself while playing. Or you had a great game. Glad to know it's the latter.
Peace
OK so just listening to the news … WHAT IS IT ABOUT NAOMI CAMPBELL????? Her behaviour worsens as she gets older!! I wonder if she ever got a good old fashioned shoe-whoppin when she was a child!!?
Glad you had a good day Your honor.
Have you heard of Sylena Johnson , folks have slpet on her real nice, sexy stuff.
Come to philly, nyc, NJ why not.
Somebody need some new kicks, you must have played some tennis today lady. good 4 u
Peace & Blessings
That word is supposed to be slept on .
sorry !
Hi all,
I started to comment about music on fb but got distracted. Judge Lynn, I agree with some others, you may enjoy Sade's cd. It's the kind you can pop in the player and let it play through. A good driving cd, it is. I'm really enjoying erykah badu's new cd. It stays in my player in my car. Again, it's one that I just let play.
Someone mentioned Chrisette Michele….I wouldn't recommend her latest cd b/c it has a lot of Neyo influence…which turned me off. Her first cd is great though! I really recommend you at least listen to snippets on iTunes. I think the 1st on is called "I Am."
I'm a huge John Legend fan (he's the only famous person I may faint over LOL) and you may like his "Live in Philadelphia" cd. One of my favs is when he breaks in the middle of his song "P.D.A" with a Roberta Flack song, "Feel Like Making Love". You may only be able to get this cd at Target though… I wouldn't recommend his last cd (though I love it!). You may not like it. But you may enjoy the "Once Again" cd.
Raphael Saadiq's cd is really good. It has a huge Motown influence. I really like it too.
My pupils dialate when someone mentions music, so forgive my lengthy response. I <3 music so so sooo much!
My recs:
*Once Again – John Legend
*The Way I See It – Raphael Saadiq
*Soldier of Love – Sade
*New Amerykah Pt 2 – Erykah Badu
*I Am – Chrisette Michele
I hope like some of them!
Thanks Judge Lynn, Ms. E and Denise…Judge Lynn I already made plans to help a friend spring clean when they are ready…I'm going to run out of things to do here soon..who woulda thunk it! That will learn meLOL (I love those phrases..heard them on a sitcom once)
Hi, I understand this is probably somewhat strange to read, but this post helps me to get through the day, when my wife is getting on my nerves left right and centre! Some of my pals told me about it but I could not find it for quite a while, so a few days ago I was very excited to finally stumble upon it! Me, I don't blog at all because I simply don't have the time nonetheless I do love to look at other people's work. I just need to comment to show my admiration for your blog and I also wanted to let you know that way too many bloggers do not get any credit for their work, credit that is, surely well deserved. Given the subject matter you might not believe it and maybe even doubt that any sane person could like it so much, but I genuinely wish for you to continue as you began. It's fantastic!
